Charlie Palano, DMD

His focus is bringing his patients only the best that dentistry has to offer by keeping himself & his staff trained in the latest advances & techniques in both cosmetic dentistry & general dentistry.

In fact, Dr. Palano is one of the elite dentists worldwide who has passed the rigorous standards set by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry to achieve accredited status. This recognition is earned after undergoing advanced & extensive training in cosmetic dentistry & demonstrating the highest level of technical skill & ability.

Recognized for his ability in cosmetic dentistry & smile enhancement, Dr. Palano was chosen as the official cosmetic dentist of the Miss California USA pageant for five years. Dr Palano was responsible for ensuring that Miss California would take an outstanding smile with her to the Miss USA pageant. Dr. Palano has also lectured nationally & has been a guest speaker for Bay Area television & radio stations.

Dr. Palano’s skill & experience is equally matched by his compassion. As an active member of the community, Dr. Palano has rehabilitated the mouths of victims of domestic violence through the “Give Back a Smile” program. Because Dr. Palano’s passion for dentistry does not stop at the end of the workday, he continues his post-graduate studies with hundreds of hours of continuing dental education at some of the most recognized teaching institutions in the world.

Dr. Palano is married & has three children. His wife Robyn is a Dental Hygienist who also works in the practice. His twin sons are attending the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He & his family enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including snow skiing, golf, hiking & backpacking.

Nicholas Palano, DDS

Dr. Nicholas Palano received his undergraduate degrees in biochemistry & cell biology from the University of California, San Diego, in 2017. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific, in 2021. In addition, he has received specialized training in Invisalign & implants. Dr. Palano stays active in his field as a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association & the Contra Costa Dental Society. He is also a committed volunteer worker & has lent his services in the U.S. & beyond since high school. When not helping others, he enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities & spending time with friends & family.

Samuel Palano, DDS

A lifelong East Bay resident, Dr. Samuel Palano received his bachelor’s degree in general biology at the University of California, San Diego, in 2017. Afterward, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific, in 2021. Dr. Palano is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association & the Contra Costa Dental Society. He also has certification in Invisalign treatment & implant surgery. He is passionate about helping others, & has volunteered with the Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church on mission trips, the Ronald McDonald House Serve a Meal program & the NCAA Make a Difference program. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys being outdoors with family & friends.

Dr. Fariba “Fay” Yaghoobi, DDS

Dr. Fay graduated as valedictorian from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She has additionally completed an advanced program in implant & surgical dentistry, with a strong focus on implant placement, soft-tissue grafting, digital workflows & comprehensive treatment planning.

Dr. Fay takes the time to understand your goals, walk you through your options & create a treatment plan that truly feels right for you. A firm believer in patient education, she prioritizes explaining every step of the process, ensuring you feel informed, confident & in control of your care. Whether you’re coming in for a routine check-up or a full smile transformation, her focus is always on making the experience smooth, comfortable & stress-free.

Dr. Fay has been honored by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for outstanding academic & clinical achievement, & she earned a fellowship in clinical excellence, reflecting her deep commitment to not only clinical excellence but also teaching & mentorship. She has also been recognized by Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honor reserved for approximately the top 10% of dentists nationwide, Phi Kappa Phi, a selective academic honor society recognizing 7.5% dentists & Tau Kappa Omega for her dedication & achievements in dentistry.

Outside of the office, she is a true nature lover who enjoys hiking & camping, planting, exploring photography, playing the piano & designing her own floral arrangements.
